We had such a great time, on Wednesday, at the monthly Case Managers Roundtable! Stephanie Harris, of Dallas College, the committee chair, presented an overview and solicited case manager input and feedback about employment and job training challenges their clients face, hiring events, and other vital education and employment resources. Haphen Muchapondwa, of Transcend STEM and Shelia Marks, of Inspiring Tomorrow’s Leaders highlighted the resources their respective organizations provide.
Thank you so much to all three of our speakers for stepping up to the plate, and thank you to all of the active participants in yesterday’s roundtable. We all learned so much! The establishment of this new committee is no accident. It is no secret that our CoC, similar to most other CoCs across the country needs to improve our performance on Measure 4 of HUD’s System Performance Measures.
