The idea of the MDHA Flex Fund, founded in 2015 by United Way of Metropolitan Dallas and MDHA, is simple. A minor but impactful expenditure impedes a client from (making progress in) ending his or her homelessness. The Flex Fund pays for it. That’s all there is to it.
Our crack team in the CAS Department put much thought into streamlining the Flex Fund process, so we can help CoC member organization case managers help their clients end their homelessness quickly and permanently. The new guide, which was just released, reflects all of that hard work.
