That’s right, friends. You, we, all of us, are gonna need a bigger boat. What do we mean? We have about 21-22% of our volunteers lined up for the 2019 Homeless Count. That means we still need 78-79%, which is just shy of 1,000 (and that’s just in the City of Dallas, itself).
So, if you are part of that 21-22%, thank you. If not, that’s OK, no biggie; just make sure you register ASAP. Here is all the pertinent info:
When: Thursday night, January 24, 2019, 7.00pm-12.00am
Who: We need 1,500 volunteers. Anyone 18+ can volunteer. We prefer that you register as teams of 3-5. (The person doing the actual registration becomes the “team captain”.)
Where: Dallas and Collin Counties. Volunteer deployment sites vary by city.
