The winter storm has increased the needs for our unhoused neighbors. Many Inclement Weather Shelters have opened throughout Dallas and Collin Counties and remain at capacity. The majority of our inclement weather shelters across Dallas and Collin Counties are volunteer led. With consecutive days of inclement weather many of our shelters desperately need more volunteers!
Ways to help:
- Do you have a vehicle safe for winter weather? Help by providing transportation
- Contact a shelter to provide a meal
- Volunteer to help staff one of the shelters
