Readers of our blog will remember that MDHA is actively transitioning to a new Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) vendor, Eccovia Solutions/ClientTrack, following a a careful HUD-guided and community-driven RFP (request for proposals) process.
While MDHA and Eccovia Solutions/ClientTrack have been carefully and methodically implementing the transition and regularly updating service providers and the community, MDHA has been actively working on putting together the funding to pay for it. Back in September 2019, we were thrilled to share that our good friends (and landlords!) at the Meadows Foundation had granted MDHA $95,000 towards funding this transition.
Last month, we received more great news. The Hoblitzelle Foundation has awarded us a $45,000 grant towards this same ongoing effort! We are deeply thankful to the board of directors and the staff of the foundation. We often say to those that help MDHA, “With your help, we will make homelessness rare, brief and nonrecurring.” This has never been truer than with these two generous grants.
