Thank You for Showing That in Dallas Everybody Counts

Wow. We’re kind of overwhelmed, and still a little tired, but most of all we’re thankful and humbled and happy to have conducted such a successful homeless count, once again. Last night, we had more cities participate in our count than ever before in Dallas history.

Thank you to all our partners who made this possible, especially, First United Methodist Church Dallas, Wilshire Baptist Church, the Dallas Police Department, Faith Forward Dallas at Thanksgiving Square, United Way of Metropolitan Dallas, the City of Dallas Office of Homeless Solutions, the Collin County Homeless Coalition, as well as other cities and nonprofit organizations and their employees, throughout our two counties, who worked so hard to make this count happen.

Most importantly, thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, to each and every one of our volunteers. You showed last night that in Dallas, everybody counts.

We invite you to join us, Thursday, March 19, 2020, 9.30-11.30am, at Communities Foundation of Texas. (Note location change!), for our sixth annual State of Homelessness Address. Our President and CEO, Carl Falconer, will review the results of last night’s count, the Dallas homeless response system’s progress over the preceding year, and the next steps the community must take to make homelessness, in Dallas and Collin Counties, rare, brief and nonrecurring.

Sponsoring the Address is a great way to show the community that you are committed to ending homelessness! Click here to download a sponsorship packet!

Finally, we hope you will join us, again, for the 2021 Homeless Count. #dallascounts2021
