Introduction
The Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act of 2020 includes an allocation of additional ESG funds. MDHA, as the lead agency of the Continuum of Care, will coordinate a local competition and make funding recommendations to the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) for Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) CARES Act II Funding in the amount of $7,633,238.00.
The Request for Proposals (RFP) includes the Notice of Funding Opportunity, Continuum of Care priorities and a timeline: TX-600-RFP-for-ESG-CARES-Act-Funding Round 2 – FINAL – 10.28.20. Please note that submissions are due to Shavon Moore by November 11, 2020.
MDHA staff will host an application workshop this Friday, October 30, 2020, at 10am to review the RFP. Interested applicants (including Executive Directors, Program Directors and Grant Writers) are encouraged to attend:
