Take Our Money. Please!

Now, that we have got your attention, what are we talking about? The MDHA Flex Fund, of course! We have shared many times in the past, how critical the MDHA Flex Fund is in helping folks end their homelessness quickly and permanently, most recently when we told you Pearl and Donna’s story.

Dallas’ homeless population faces a variety of needs (beyond housing and supportive services). If not met, these needs may prevent them from ending their homelessness quickly and permanently. The idea of the Flex Fund is simple. A minor but impactful expenditure impedes a client from (making progress in) ending his or her homelessness. The Flex Fund pays for it. That’s all there is to it.

So, what do we need from you? Well, it depends.

  • Do you work with clients, who could end their homelessness, with the help of the Flex Fund, but have not utilized it before? The Flex Fund was created for you! Please, download and read the newly updated Flex Fund Program Guide today, and get cracking.
  • Do you work with clients, who could end their homelessness, with the help of the Flex Fund, and already use it?
