Yesterday, we were honored to participate in a meeting at KERA to learn more about StoryCorps’ upcoming visit to Dallas.
StoryCorps is a nonprofit whose mission is to offer people of all backgrounds and beliefs the opportunity to record, share, and preserve the stories of our lives for future generations.
The folks at StoryCorps asked us to share the news of their visit with our CoC member organizations. They will be here October 15-November 13, 2019, and are looking for organizations to partner with.
This is an excellent opportunity for our homeless friends, as well as those that work with them, to record their stories for posterity. They can choose to share them with StoryCorps and/or your organizations, or just keep them for themselves. It’s entirely up to them.
