This week we received a $600 donation from our new friend, Alex Byron, with this note:
“I listened to a 99% Invisible podcast series that covered homelessness… I realized that I didn’t need the stimulus payment I received this year. I figured I’d reallocate it more efficiently on the government’s behalf. :)”
Doing what we do, we know there are many people out there for whom the $600 stimulus payment we are all receiving is nothing short of a godsend. However, we also know that Alex is not alone.
We encourage you to take a moment, and think if you really need that $600. If you don’t, we hope you will follow Alex’s example and reallocate it more efficiently to the fight to end homelessness. Once again, you can go to Our Wall of Champions, and donate there to MDHA.
