This is pretty exciting news. We have a new national strategic plan! It just came out today. This is a must read for anyone who does anything connected to homelessness. It is a much easier read, at 28 pages, than the previous plan was, at 80 pages. Click on either of the images to read the plans, old and new.
The plans were both put out by the U.S. Interagency Council on Homelessness, or USICH, which, “leads the national effort to prevent and end homelessness in America,” and drives, “action among our 19 federal member agencies and foster partnerships at every level of government and with the private sector.”
