Robert Bounkhong, of The Bridge Homeless Recovery Center, is a 2020 Case Manager of the Year Award finalist in the Compassionate Soul category.
Robert’s character is well exemplified by his continued work with an undocumented elderly guest with complex health and cognitive issues. Robert’s tenacity in assisting her never wavered in spite of the systemic barriers she faces in getting into housing and ending her homelessness. Robert’s work with this guest is the standard of not only of what it means to be a social worker but a good person. Congratulations, Robert!
