Daneille Tooker, of CitySquare, is a 2020 Case Manager of the Year Award finalist in the Tireless Teacher category.
Daneille is quite adept in teaching through word and deed that what we should have for our homeless friends is not pity but a great sense of admiration. She is skilled in highlighting the resilience and tenacity they have had to show to endure what many of us can only imagine, coming out of those experiences as skilled survivors. She inculcates in everyone she works with that we really are all the same; some of just have been a little luckier. It is this sense of innate equality and connectedness that makes Danielle such a valued and effective leader. Congratulations, Daneille!
