Over the course of the last few weeks and months, many folks in Dallas and Collin Counties, have, quietly and without fanfare, put a lot of work into making sure we would have accessible resources to provide inclement weather shelter to our unsheltered homeless friends, this winter.
We are excited to announce that, today, our shelter providers, Austin Street Center, Dallas Life, Family Gateway, The Bridge, The Salvation Army and Union Gospel Mission, completed their work on an updated Dallas Emergency Shelter Collaborative Inclement Weather Plan.
We have updated the top of this website’s Help Resources page to reflect this and other recent developments, in both counties . Please share this information far and wide. With these resources in place, we hope and pray that we will not see any more needless death or injury, due to cold weather, this winter. Thank you again to all of our partners for their hard work.
