How Dallas, Houston flipped the script on the national homelessness trend” from the Dallas Morning News.

“Homelessness increased 12% in the United States to an all-time high this year. However, Houston and Dallas were exceptions among major cities and provided lessons for the rest of the nation.”

Our community saw a 32% decrease in chronic homelessness and a 14% decrease in unsheltered homelessness. Through private and public funding and the coordinated approach of the All Neighbors Coalition, we have transformed our system to house neighbors faster than ever and provide them with the wraparound support needed to maintain housing.
