We are here! Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week starts tomorrow. With it, MDHA and Faith Forward Dallas at Thanksgiving Square will fulfill the second action item of our shared faith community homelessness initiative:
“Preaching – We will ask FFD@TGS members, as well as other clergy, to use their sermons during Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week, November 10-18, 2018, to educate their congregations on how they can help advance the goals of this initiative, and help end homelessness.”
It’s not too late to join this effort, if you are a member of the clergy. And, if you are not a member of the clergy, you can forward this blog post to your spiritual leader, or print off this flyer, and hand to them.
Here are some great resources, from our old and new blog, which you can use to preach on this subject:

Remember, we would love to share your sermons with the public, once you have preached them, if you are open to that. You can email them to David Gruber, david.gruber@mdhadallas.org.
