The MDHA Flex Fund pays for minor but impactful expenditures that help folks end their homelessness. Since the time we established the Flex Fund, back in 2015, the need has gone up and gone down. In the last six-seven months the need has accelerated beyond what we have ever experienced. At the same time, a few funding sources we were counting on, either did not come through or shifted their funding schedules.
We have never had to refuse a Flex Fund request due to lack of funds, and we hope we won’t have to. Please give to the Flex Fund during the month of June.
