This Wednesday, September 23, 2020, 2.00-4.00pm, MDHA’s Education and Employment Committee will be hosting an online Education Opportunity Fair. The fair will feature Dallas College WorkReadyU, Inspiring Tomorrow’s Leaders, and Transcend STEM Education.
It will be hosted through Webex. Each agency will host a 30-minute information session about the job training programs that they offer. A Q&A session will follow.
We are hoping that agencies with shared TV screens can broadcast the fair, and ask agencies to accommodate clients without computer access who express an interest in attending. We are also planning to record the session, so it may be viewed later by those who may happen to miss the fair. Please pass on this flyer to all clients who are interested and/or you feel may benefit from attending.
While we encourage any and all providers and clients to attend the fair, when referring clients to any of the above programs, please ensure they meet each program’s requirements. Please consult the linked document for FAQs and specific program requirements and info.
