OK, you might be saying to yourself, does this blog just look for excuses to show us planes, cars, and road signs for absolutely no good reason? Of course not; we show them for great reasons. And, who doesn’t like a double-decker bus?
By now, we probably can’t surprise you. One look at that icon of London, and you know, that we are showing it for one very good reason. That’s right, Dr. Lester Collins, our CoC Performance Analyst told us to show it to you (not really).
No, but he did share with us that in our 90 in 90 Emergency Shelter Challenge, during the week of 6/17-6/23, Austin Street Center, The Bridge Homeless Recovery Center and The Salvation Army DFW housed 10 people.
Still wondering about the bus? Seriously, you need to study up on what the riders of that bus would call maths. It’s easy. Last week we told you the total was 197! Add 10, and you get, that’s right to somewhere in London. No, really, you get the number on that bus – 207*!
Congratulations to our three hardworking partners, who are breaking records every week, and even more importantly to our now formerly homeless friends, all 207 of them.
* Still wondering about the title? If our 207 friends ever went to London together, they would need 2-3 buses, depending on the model.
