These last few months, we have been working on streamlining our communications. Here are the basics:
- We will be moving from this one monthly newsletter, that covers everything to three monthly newsletters, that each cover a facet of the work being done in our system.
- We will be cutting down on Constant Contact emails between these newsletters.
- The HMIS Department communications will remain separate, as before, though they will be streamlining their communications, too.
Here is what our new newsletters will be. Please pay close attention to submission deadlines, where applicable!
- Homeless Response System Newsletter
This will serve as a vehicle to disseminate important system level info from MDHA, local governments and other system leaders throughout the homeless response system, so everyone is “on the same page.”
Submission deadline for info to be included: Fourth Tuesday of each month.
- MDHA Newsletter
This will serve as a vehicle to discuss MDHA’s work as the backbone organization of the homeless response system.
- Continuum of Care (CoC) General Assembly Newsletter
This will serve as a vehicle to share general assembly information, provider communications, training info, and Coordinated Assessment System (CAS) info and updates. It will also include highlights of our system transformation work, and link to work-group updates.
Submission deadline for info to be included: Second Tuesday of each month.
Important Note to CoC Member organizations: We will be happy to share relevant info you may have regarding your RFPs, events, job openings and more on our blog and social media, and highlight/link to them in this newsletter. We will not, however, be sending out separate emails about these anymore.
