We will be buying your coffee from 7:30am to 8:30am, sharing information about racial healing, and offering a virtual healing practice for you to enjoy during the day.

Event #3: Beyond The Accommodation: A Racial Healing Conversation with Dr. Michael Phillips

- Event Description: Join Dallas Truth, Racial Healing & Transformation on the 2023 National Day of Racial Healing at our offices (1349 Empire Central Dr., Suite 400, Dallas, Texas, 75247-4033) at 11:30am on January 17, 2023 for a Racial Healing Conversation with Dr. Michael Phillips! Dr. Phillips is the author of “White Metropolis: Race, Ethnicity, and Religion in Dallas, 1841–2001” and we will be discussing the book and more. Dallas TRHT will also be providing lunch and a copy of Dr. Phillip’s book to all that register and are in attendance. The event will be followed by a book signing. Event #4: The Work We Still Have Yet To Do: A Racial Justice, Abolition and Transformation Conversation with Angela Y. Davis

- Event Description: “The wait is over! Dallas TRHT is so excited to announce that the special guest for our 2023 National Day of Racial Healing evening program will be the incomparable Angela Davis! Join us on January 17th, at 7:00 PM, for a conversation with Angela Davis as we connect, build relationships, and bridge divides (the location will be announced shortly).
